Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Jemirae collects through www.jemirae.com, including Blueprint, how we use it, who helps us process it and the choices you have. We have tried to write it plainly.
1. Who we are
Jemirae is a digital product strategy and design business headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, represented by Joseph Emmanuel. Jemirae decides how and why your personal information is used, and is the "controller" or "business operator handling personal information" for the purposes of the laws that apply. You can reach us about privacy at emmanuel.joseph@jemirae.com.
2. What we collect
- What you tell Blueprint. The description of your business and problem that you type or speak, and your answers to follow-up questions (for example your business name, goal, budget band and timing).
- Voice input. If you use the microphone, your browser's built-in speech recognition turns your speech into text. Depending on your browser, the audio may be processed by your browser provider (for example Google for Chrome or Apple for Safari) under their own privacy terms. Jemirae receives only the resulting text, never the audio.
- Your email address and name, when you give them to receive your Blueprint, book a call, contact us or subscribe.
- Booking and contact details you enter in our forms, such as your company, role, project details and how you heard about us.
- Order details: the service you chose, the price, the order reference and its payment and delivery status.
- Technical information: the country your host derives from your IP address (we keep only the two-letter country code, never the IP address), your language, currency and theme choices, any referral code in the link you followed, and basic server logs kept by our host for security.
- Analytics, only if you allow them: how you move through the site, such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays.
3. How Blueprint processes your input
To understand your request and prepare your plan, the text you give Blueprint may be sent to an artificial intelligence (AI) model provider, currently Anthropic, through our hosting provider's gateway. The provider processes the text on our behalf to return a structured result. Under its commercial terms it does not use this data to train its models. If that service is unavailable, Blueprint uses simple rules on our own servers instead.
Blueprint's diagnosis, quick wins and recommendation are suggestions generated automatically from what you told us. They do not produce legal or similarly significant effects for you, and nobody is obliged to act on them. You can ask a person at Jemirae to review your Blueprint at any time by emailing us.
Please do not include sensitive information (such as health details, government ID numbers, passwords or payment card numbers) in your description. Blueprint does not need it.
4. Why we use it, and our legal bases
- To prepare and show your Blueprint, send it to you and keep a link to it, and to deliver services you buy (performing our agreement with you, or steps you asked for before one).
- To reply to your messages and arrange calls you book (performing our agreement, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
- To confirm payments, keep accounting and tax records and prevent fraud (legal obligations and legitimate interests).
- To send you practical business tips and occasional offers by email, two to three times a month at most (your consent, or where the law allows, our legitimate interest in writing to customers about similar services). Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (your consent, for analytics).
- To keep the site secure and working (legitimate interests).
5. Payments through Contra
Payments are made on Contra (contra.com), which processes your payment under its own terms and privacy policy. You enter your card or bank details on Contra, not on our site, and Jemirae never sees or stores full card numbers. Contra shares with us what we need to confirm and record your order, such as your name, email address, the amount and the payment status.
For questions about a payment, an invoice or a refund, email finance@jemirae.com.
7. International transfers
Our team and providers are in several countries, including Japan and the United States, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where the law requires, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and providers' data processing terms, and we take the steps required under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information for transfers to third parties abroad.
8. How long we keep it
- Blueprint and enquiry records: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client.
- Order, payment and invoice records: seven years, as required for accounting and tax purposes.
- Email list membership: until you unsubscribe. We keep a record that you unsubscribed so we do not email you again.
- Analytics data: according to the provider's retention settings, at most 13 months.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Residents of California can also ask what we collect and request deletion, and we will not treat you differently for doing so. To make a request, email emmanuel.joseph@jemirae.com. We will reply within 30 days, and may need to confirm your identity first.
If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, such as the Personal Information Protection Commission in Japan or the supervisory authority in your EU or UK country.
11. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to records to the people who need it, and protect our accounts with strong authentication. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please contact us straight away if you think something is wrong.
12. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
13. Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you by email.
